Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 The province of Bukidnon specifically the Maramag area was hit by a 5.6 earthquake. The epicenter which is Maramag, is said to have 90,000 population, which was shocked and was awaken from sleep.
Considering the Philippines to be in the Pacific Ring of Fire, such earthquakes are not as unexpected it may be.
Just last friday, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake shaked the southeast region of Borongan.
